Accessibility

We’re committed to ensuring an accessible and enjoyable experience for disabled customers and those with specific requirements. If you have any questions about accessibility, please don’t hesitate to email: enquiries@geronimofest.com

If you have any access requirements that you’d like us to know about, please email: enquiries@geronimofest.com so that we can make sure that all of your needs are met. These might include:

Free Personal Assistant Ticket
We operate a free personal assistant ticket scheme. You are automatically eligible for this scheme if you can supply one of the following:

  • Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate required).

  • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate required).

  • Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind).

  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card.

We recognise that the evidence above might not include everyone that has an access requirement. If you do not have any of the above evidence but wish to apply for one or more access provisions, complete the Access Requirement Form stating why you require them. You are welcome to post or email copies of any additional evidence that supports your application if you have any, or contact us to discuss your application. Your application will be judged on a case-by-case basis.

If you would like to take advantage of the free personal assistant ticket scheme, please contact Ticketline on +44 (0) 0161 832 1111 and they will require you to send proof of your DLA. They will then issue your carer ticket

Toilets
We provide at least one accessible toilet at each main toilet blocks within the event site.

Accessible Parking
We have a blue-badge parking area, close to the carnival entrance along a roadway. You must display your blue badge in your car upon arrival and throughout. You will still need to purchase a parking pass to park onsite.

Alternative formats for information
All information about the festival is available as word documents upon request - please email enquiries@geronimofest.com

Medical services
Our first aid team provide comprehensive medical advice and treatment facilities and are very flexible in meeting specific needs. They will be based within the carnival.

Access around the site
The festival is based on a green field site, where some, but not all, areas are accessible on pathways. There are several indoor marquees but the carnival is mainly an open-air event, so weather and ground conditions off the paths may be variable.

General parking is on a grassed show ground, adjacent to hard standing paths or roadway. Accessible parking is on hard standing adjacent to the carnival entrance.
